Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026. This policy describes how Zaib collects, handles, and secures your information across our platform and mobile applications.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Zaib. We respect your privacy and are deeply committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy outlines how Zaib ("we", "our", or "us") collects, processes, stores, and transfers information when you use our smart salon management software, merchant dashboard, and the Zaib online booking marketplace mobile application (collectively, the "Platform").

By installing our Android application from the Google Play Store or accessing our web platform, you agree to the practices detailed in this document. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Information We Collect

To provide a seamless salon management experience and aggregate a localized customer marketplace, we gather specific types of data depending on your user role (Salon Owner, Staff Member, or Salon Client):

A. Information Provided Directly by You:
  • Account Registration Details: Full name, phone number, email address, physical salon location, profile pictures, and login credentials.
  • Business Operational Data: Salon service lists, pricing structures, staff rosters, dynamic scheduling preferences, inventory counts, and financial records.
  • Client Interactions: Service preferences, notes left by beauty professionals, booking history, and review text.
B. Information Collected via the Mobile App (Google Play Requirements):
  • Approximate and Precise Location Data: With your explicit consent, we access location details to pinpoint local salons nearby and supply directions.
  • Device & Application Identifiers: IP addresses, operating system version, unique device IDs, crash logs, and granular performance analytics to resolve software bugs immediately.
  • Push Notification Tokens: Necessary tokens utilized solely to transmit instant appointment updates, reducing booking cancellations and no-shows.

3. How We Use Your Information

We systematically process your information strictly to meet legal benchmarks and elevate your operational workflow:

  • To verify entity authentication, manage business dashboards, and facilitate public business listings on the marketplace app.
  • To dispatch automatic SMS alerts, transactional booking confirmations, and push notification reminders.
  • To process commission-based allocations, generate structured local tax summaries, and supervise internal staff commissions.
  • To protect our structural platform from malicious activity, payment fraud, or breaches of our foundational terms.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Zaib will never sell or rent your personal information to third parties. Data sharing occurs under minimal, necessary paradigms:

  • Between Clients and Salons: Essential client names, phone numbers, and service historical preferences are shared directly with chosen merchants to successfully execute on-site salon appointments.
  • Service Vendors: Trusted third parties providing analytical diagnostic software, localized SMS infrastructure, and digital cloud hosting receive limited, end-to-end encrypted parameters.
  • Regulatory Mandates: If legally compelled under federal or state jurisdictions within Pakistan, information may be released to satisfy law enforcement investigations or compliance audit criteria.

5. Data Retention & Absolute Account Deletion

We retain account information for as long as your profile remains active. In absolute adherence to Google Play policies regarding user data control, clients and business owners retain complete authority to delete their information at any moment.

You can initiate a permanent erasure request directly within the mobile app settings or by writing to our designated privacy desk at privacy@zaib.cloud. Upon validation, your personal details, historical booking context, and identity credentials are securely scrubbed from our active cloud storage within thirty (30) days, retaining only anonymized numerical datasets mandated for institutional tax reports.

6. Security Infrastructure

Our physical and virtual cloud environments employ industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL/TLS) configurations to ensure data remains secure during transit. Access to sensitive salon financial tables or customer profiles is restricted internally using precise role-based authorization parameters.

7. Contact and Support
